Age Requirement
PreK3 - children must be 3 years of age by October 1st
PreK4 - children must be 4 years of age by October 1st
Preschool hours for PreK-3 and PreK-4
Half Day - 8:30am-11:30am
Full Day - 8:30am-2:30pm (includes Lunch Bunch and Enrichment Program)
Aftercare - 2:40pm - 6:00pm. The program is available on early release days from 12:10pm-4:00pm
Before School Care begins at 7:30 AM
PreK-3 and PreK-4 Tuition | 2026–2027 School Year
Payments are made on a ten-month basis beginning July 1st.
PreK-3 students remain in the classroom with the teachers during lunch.
PreK-4 students use the cafeteria for lunch.
Students may bring a brown bag lunch or lunch may be purchased through
Simply Gourmet.
Creative Curriculum
At Our Lady of the Lake Preschool, we use the
Creative Curriculum to provide a hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning experience that encourages children to explore, discover, and make connections with the world around them. Our teachers create engaging learning experiences based on each child’s interests, abilities, and developmental needs while building the foundational skills needed for Kindergarten and beyond.
Through purposeful play and exploration, children develop social-emotional, language, literacy, mathematics, science, and physical skills. Children are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, make choices, express themselves, and work both independently and cooperatively with their classmates.
Our classroom experiences include:
- Language & Literacy: Building vocabulary, recognizing letters and sounds, listening to and discussing stories, developing conversation skills, and exploring the written word
- Mathematics: Counting, number recognition, sorting, comparing, measuring, recognizing shapes, and exploring patterns
- Science & Discovery: Making observations, asking questions, making predictions, experimenting, and learning about the world around us
- Social-Emotional Development: Building friendships, learning to share and take turns, expressing feelings, developing patience, and gaining confidence and independence
- Creative Expression: Art, music, movement, dramatic play, storytelling, and hands-on projects that encourage creativity and self-expression
- Physical Development: Activities that strengthen fine and gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and body awareness
- Community & Culture: Learning about families, neighborhoods, traditions, seasons, and the world beyond the classroom
Learning is connected to classroom themes and incorporates stories, songs, projects, experiments, games, and opportunities for children to learn through play. We believe children learn best when they are actively engaged, curious, and encouraged to explore.
As a Catholic preschool, we also incorporate faith into our daily experiences through prayer, Bible stories, songs, kindness, service, and opportunities to recognize God’s presence in ourselves, our classmates, and the world around us.
Our goal is to help each child become a confident, curious, capable, and compassionate learner while developing the skills and independence needed for a successful transition to Kindergarten.
