Lake Serves
In celebration of the Catholic mission of Our Lady of the Lake School, the Lake Serves program gives students and their families the opportunity to live out their faith through meaningful service. Rooted in the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, the program encourages awareness of and response to the needs of our local and global communities.
Each month, students participate in age-appropriate service projects that promote compassion, empathy, and active citizenship. These experiences are paired with reflection, helping children connect their actions to the values of faith, justice, and love.
Through Lake Serves, our school community embraces the call to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
“Teach us, good Lord, to serve you as you deserve; to give, and not to count the cost; to fight, and not to heed the wounds; to toil, and not to seek for rest; to labor, and not to ask for reward, except that of knowing that we are doing your will.”
