Student Leadership is a vital component to Our Lady of the Lake School providing direct participation and leadership by the students. Students in grades 5-8 are elected to represent their homerooms at bi-monthly council meetings. Student officers conduct the meetings and direct service projects, such as canned food drives, clothing drives and collections for the missions. During the meetings, students discuss and propose suggestions to improve our school. Social activities are also planned by the Council. Events such as the Spring Dance, movie nights and game nights are examples of some of the extra-curricular activities sponsored by Student Leadership.
