Q. Does Our Lady of the Lake offer transportation?
A. Currently students in grades K-8 who reside in the West Orange school district and reside 2.1 miles from OLL are provided bussing to Our Lady of the Lake School. Students who live in other districts that do provide bussing but not to O.L.L. may be eligible to be reimbursed by that district if they live more than 2.1 miles from school. Parents may check with their local Board of Education and submit a Transportation Form (found on this website under Quick Links- Forms & Notices) through O.L.L. in the spring for the upcoming school year if they wish to be reimbursed.
Q. Does Our Lady of the Lake provide a lunch program?
A. Lunch, provided by local merchants, is available for purchase. Lunch must be ordered in advance from an online school lunch ordering service - "myfooddays".
Q. What is the student/faculty ratio?
A. In grades K-8 the student/faculty ratio runs approximately 20 to 1.
Q. Does OLL provide extended care?
A. Our Lady of the Lake School offers Before Care which runs from 7:30 – 8:00 A.M. and After Care which runs until 6:00 P.M.
Q. What high schools do children attend after graduating?
A. O.L.L. graduates go on to attend public high schools as well as private high schools such as Mount St. Dominic, Seton Hall Prep, Regis, Lacordaire Academy, St. Peter's Prep, Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child, Delbarton, Montclair Kimberley Academy, Kent Place, Newark Academy, DePaul, Paramus Catholic, Don Bosco, Mother Seton and Union Catholic.
Q. Does Our Lady of the Lake offer student-for-a-day opportunities?
A. Arrangements can be made with the office for prospective students to visit the school and attend class for the day.
